About Us

We are moving to The Clock House at 2 High Street !

We are moving to The Clock House in a few months due to the limited resources and capacity at 108 High Street. At the Clock House we will see all our NHS and Private patients in more extensive facilities. We are going to put a blog together showing photos of the internal development for all our patients to see.

The Clock House will be purpose designed to provide an extensive range of facilities to ensure that patients have excellent access to NHS and Private Dental Services in a tranquil setting with beautiful surrounding gardens. The surgeries are modern and purpose designed. We have separate “treatment co-ordination” areas which have photos, videos, and props which allow us to explain dental treatment plans in more detail and give our clients the opportunity to understand the nature and reason for many recommended treatments. We will also have education and video facilities to explain the impact of untreated gum disease on our whole population. Dentists working within the NHS and Privately have done wonders to reduce the impact of  decay, but the various healthcare systems have been unsuccessful in reducing the prevalence of gum disease in England which currently sits at 50 % of the adult population. Apart from experiencing tooth loss from gum disease, recent research indicates that there may be an association between gum disease and heart disease, diabetes, and occasionally lung infection. The whole team at Clock House have been calibrated on a bespoke gum disease management protocol which is unique to Antwerp Academy dentists. As a result of this, we will recommend a minimum of 2 visits with the hygienist per year on top of your routine dental care.

To manage this demand, we will employ several hygienists. We would also like you to consult with Fahd Saleh who is a Specialist Registrar at Guy’s hospital, who is specialising in Gum Disease Management. He currently holds the post of Specialist Registrar In Periodontology, but will soon be a state recognised Specialist in gum disease management.

For nervous patients, we also run a sedation service, covering Linton, Haverhill and Suffolk which will be performed at Clock House.

Our facilities are child and disabled friendly. If you have any special requirements, our practice manager, Dawn would be only too delighted to assist.

Please enjoy the blog of photos below showing our development  of The Clock House.
